Ratatan weapons

The Japanese community wiki, checked 16 October 2026, groups weapons into sword and shield, charge spear, spear, bow, bomb, scythe, staff, and hammer. It lists fire, water, ice, poison, thunder, and wind affinities and describes blueprints and forge upgrades. These categories are community notes; some pages still describe Early Access. Compare equipment with the role you need on the role comparison, rather than assuming one rarity is a universal build recommendation.

Epic and Legendary appear in the wiki’s smithy progression. A complete current table of named weapons, stats, and drop locations has not been verified for this guide. The search phrase “gem weapon” is not treated as proof of a separate crafting system; use the item’s actual in-game name when requesting help.

The official v1.1.9 release notes, 14 October 2026 add a fourth weapon limit-break stage and raise the level cap from 90 to 100. They also add Mythic weapons and accessories; the new Mythic weapons have dedicated Decorune.

Materials used mainly for Mythic limit breaks come from Episode 3 onward, including Goddess Games rewards for defeating world bosses and mid-bosses. Episode 2 Mythic weapon drops were slightly increased to help prepare for later episodes; the publisher gives no exact rate. Clear Episode 2 for Episode 3, then Episode 3 for Episode 4. These are official progression facts, not item-specific farming guarantees.

The older December 2025 announcement links Dark Ratatan victories to Mythic-tier gear and describes Legendary accessories with random Decorune effects, not merely cosmetic effects. Purchased packs are separate: prices and editions. The 15 October v1.1.11 hotfix fixes purchased, activated DLC failing to apply; it is not a weapon balance patch.
