Run cards versus permanent upgrades
Ratakaruta (ラタカルタ) are upgrades collected during an adventure. They are separate from permanent growth in Rataport. The Japanese community wiki, checked 16 October 2026, groups elemental builds around fire, water, ice, poison, thunder, and wind. Its Early Access coverage is not a complete current card database.
The official 11 December 2025 announcement describes Duo cards becoming available after two or more elemental attributes pass a threshold. It introduces a limit of one Duo card per run because of their strength, while leaving room for later balance changes. It does not limit the whole run to one ordinary Ratakaruta. The announcement does not give the numerical elemental threshold or current drop probabilities, so neither is invented here.
Full-release card and suspend-save issues
The v1.1.9 notes, 14 October 2026 list a known issue where the number of Ratakaruta obtained before a suspend save may not restore correctly. They also list an incorrect Slow Thaw description, Grand Entrance healing referencing barrier value, and some card text not fitting its frame. These are known issues, not fixed by v1.1.11, whose published scope is DLC delivery.

Questions
Can I collect several Ratakaruta in one run?
Yes. The December announcement’s one-per-run restriction refers specifically to Duo Ratakaruta, not all ordinary cards. Later balance changes should be checked against current patch notes.
How do Duo cards unlock?
The official announcement requires sufficient elemental forces in two or more attributes, without publishing exact threshold values.
